Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for subscriptions to the oFatoura platform operated by Async Solution Services LLC ("Async Solution", "we", "us", or "our"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

1. Trial period

Where we offer a free trial, you are not charged during the trial. No payment is taken and therefore no refund arises for the trial itself. If you do not wish to be billed, cancel before the trial ends.

2. Subscription billing

Subscription fees are charged in advance in Omani Rial (OMR) and are exclusive of VAT at 5% unless stated otherwise, in accordance with the VAT Law (Royal Decree No. 121/2020). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. A tax invoice is issued for each charge.

3. Refund eligibility

  • Monthly subscriptions: you may request a refund within 7 days of the billing date for that month.
  • Yearly subscriptions: you may request a refund within 7 days of activation or renewal; refunds for yearly plans are calculated on a prorated basis for the unused period after deducting any month already used.
  • One-time fees: may be requested within 14 days, provided the related service has not been substantially delivered.
  • Non-refundable items: NFC tags, custom development/customization, and on-site installation services are generally non-refundable once delivered or performed.

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email support@asyncsolution.com from the email address associated with your account, stating your account details, the charge in question, and the reason for the request. We may ask for additional information to verify the request.

5. Processing times

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method. We aim to process approved refunds within 7 to 14 business days. The time for the funds to appear depends on your bank or payment provider.

6. Billing disputes

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate and correct any genuine billing error promptly.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation you retain access until the end of the paid period; we do not provide additional refunds for the remainder of a period except as set out in section 3 or as required by law.

8. Special circumstances

Where the Service materially fails to perform as agreed and we are unable to remedy the issue within a reasonable time, we will consider a refund or credit for the affected period on a case-by-case basis, in addition to your statutory rights below.

9. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank — most issues can be resolved directly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of the account pending resolution.

10. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or waives your non-waivable rights under the Consumer Protection Law (Royal Decree No. 66/2014), which is supervised by the Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP). Where the Service materially fails to conform to the agreed terms, you remain entitled to a remedy — which may be repair, replacement, or refund — as provided by that law, and you have the right to escalate a complaint to PACP. These statutory rights apply regardless of the time windows stated above.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Effective date". Changes do not affect refund requests already validly submitted.
