Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what is and is not permitted when using the oFatoura platform operated by Async Solution Services LLC ("Async Solution", "we", "us", or "our"), including the web platform and the oFatoura ePOS and oFatoura Partner applications (the "Service"). It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Purpose

This AUP protects the Service, its users, and the public by setting clear expectations for lawful and responsible use. It applies to you and to everyone who accesses the Service through your account.

2. Your responsibilities

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential.
  • Ensure the data you enter is accurate and that you have a lawful basis to process it.
  • Be responsible for the activities of your staff and other users who access the Service through your account.

3. Prohibited activities

You must not, and must not permit others to:

  • Violate any Omani law, including the Cybercrime Law (Royal Decree No. 12/2011).
  • Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or systems, or circumvent security or authentication controls.
  • Conduct penetration testing or vulnerability scanning without our prior written authorization.
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Scrape, harvest, or access the Service by automated means without our permission.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
  • Upload or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or offensive.
  • Use the Service to process special categories of personal data without a lawful basis.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Service.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use another user's credentials.

4. Content standards

Content you upload or generate through the Service (such as menu items, images, and customer communications) must be accurate, lawful, and not infringe the rights of others. You are responsible for the content associated with your account.

5. Security and vulnerability reporting

We welcome responsible disclosure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to support@asyncsolution.com and allow us a reasonable time to investigate and remediate before any public disclosure. Do not exploit, expand, or share access beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the issue.

6. Monitoring and enforcement

We may monitor use of the Service to maintain security and compliance. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this AUP and, where required by law, cooperate with competent authorities in the Sultanate of Oman.

7. Consequences of breach

Breach of this AUP may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account, in addition to any legal remedies available to us or to affected parties.

8. Reporting misuse

If you become aware of any misuse of the Service, please report it to us at support@asyncsolution.com.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Effective date".
